Welcome! to My Camp Grimes, Mecklenburg County Council's online summer camp information site. One of North Carolina's finest Boy Scout Camps, Camp Grimes is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camp Grimes is part of the Mecklenburg Scout Reservation and is owned and operated by the Mecklenburg County Council, Boy Scouts of America, Charlotte NC.

Merit Badge entry begins March 28 at 8:00 am for week one campers. Week two will start at 10:00 am, Week three starts at 12:00 pm, Week four starts 2:00 pm and Week five starts at 4:00 pm. Before next week, be sure to logon and get your troop Id (ones from last year were cleared out) and enter your troop roster. Do not forget to add the age and rank of each scout. If you do not enter the age and rank, you may not see all merit badges available to the scout.

As changed at the Leader meeting, Mammal Studies and Animal Science will be offered as back to back classes in session 5. Each is a 2 1/2 day merit badge class. You will sign up for both as one class.

Be sure to waitlist your scouts for merit badge classes that are full. On April 2, we will look at the requested merit badges and add classes as requested by campers.
